INGREDIENTS
– ½ kg. of Cantabrian red beans (caricos)
– ½ red pepper
– 1 green pepper
– 2 cloves of garlic
– 1 onion
– salt
– paprika
– olive oil
METHOD
The day before cooking the dish we need to put the beans in water with a bit of olive oil (used oil, even better).
Next day, we boil the vegetables for four hours aproximately, continiously covering them with water when this starts evaporating. When almost done, add salt.
Blend the vegetables together in a thick sauce. We fry this sauce with oil and paprika. Add the beans and leave it for half an hour more.
