Oven cooked horse mackerel

 
 
 
 

INGREDIENTS

 –  2 large horse mackerels

 –  1 lemon

 –  2 cloves of garlic

 –  1 large onion

 –  Parsley

 

–  Paprika

–  Vinegar

–  White wine

–  Bread crumbs

–  Oil and salt

METHOD

 

Clean the horse mackerels with cold water. Make three incisons on the fillets and introduce sliced lemon in them. Season with salt inside and our and put your finely chopped garlic inside.

In a fish pan, add some oil, a bed of onion rings and the horse mackerels on top. Cover with oil, parsley and very fine breand crumbs.  Oven bake on a moderate temperature for about 20 minutes.

While the mackerels are baking heat up a pan with two spoons of oil, add paprika, vinegar and white wine. When the mackerels are 5 minutes away from being cooked cover them with this sauce and cook for the remaining 5 minutes.
