On our entire coastal line, bathed by the waters of the Cantabrian Sea, we can find steep cliffs and fine sandy areas. Because of this and the annual mean water temperature bring between 11ºC and 20ºC, that accuatic sports such as surf, sup and sailing are practised, as well as the popular games of palas and volleyball.
Our coast holds a huge geographical variety that allows us to find quite and remote beaches of difficult access where, in some cases, naturism is practised. On the other hand, we can find large sandy areas that have several kilometres of lenght and easy access to basic services.
A large part of the 21 beaches that compose the MMS hold the recognition for their comminment to Sustainblility and the Environment.
