METHOD

The best time to eat them is between January and March. They are vey tender and full of flavour if properly seasoned.

Wash the turnip stalks and remove the hard leaves.

Boil them with plenty of water and salt during 20 minutes. Drain the stalks and wash them with cold water. Drain them and sqeeze them so they are free of excess water.

We heat a pan with some oil and fry the bacon previously cut in cubes until crispy. Remove them from the pan and keep them for later. With the same oil we fry the stalks, add salt and the rest of the ingredients.

Serve them on a tray.
